More on Identity Systems
It occurred to me that I have the original implicit design presentation boards formatted for screen.
It is an older identity project, but is probably my best-documented identity work.
In reviewing the boards it occurred to me how much I have cherry picked from the actual system for my regular use. I guess I’m no better than most clients.
Also, in terms of staying hungry, having more space to develop and refine identity systems for internal and third party application would be amazing! I’m so systems driven it’s easy to find interactive work, but building typographic, form, and color strategies for brands is a second nature and a joy.
Worthington IBS Microsite
Before the current Worthington Integrated Building Systems Site went live (worthingtonibs.com), I was asked to produce a microsite to compliment a WIBS tradeshow exhibit we produced for the NAHB convention in Florida this past February.
I produced this site in two weeks on my own
and included Google Analytics for tracking. We averaged sixty visits per day from February through July when the current site went live.
What I enjoyed most about this project was the opportunity to present relatively dry content in a unique way. Read more about the microsite here.
Personality Tests
I’ve been taking some classes, and in the last few weeks we have been working through some personality testing and analysis for individual and team formation purposes. I’d meant to share these earlier, but they’d completely slipped my mind.
My thinking is that one of the hardest things to gauge in choosing someone to work with is their character / personality. I’m pretty confident in having had a healthy character drilled into me from
an early age, and so long as I’ve got some personality test result (which by the way totally reads my mail in terms of personality) why not share them.
This is my limited Myers Briggs profile. I pieced it together with general descriptions, my characteristic pairings, and my composite type.
