Worthington Integrated
Building Systems
Who was the client?
Worthington Industries is a global processor of steel based in Worthington Ohio. Through the years they have developed both processes and products for the extension of steels use in new and expanding markets.
What was the project?
One growing market has been the steel framing of residential, mid-rise, and military structures. With many advantages over traditional wood framing Worthington has established a network and system to streamline steel construction. Initially the solution was a collection of venders and installers with little unified voice. Worthington Integrated Building Systems (WIBS) was the answer. After a brand was developed a website and tradeshow display needed to consolidate the language and combined advantages of the system.
What was my role?
My role was to take the brand sense that had been established and role it into a micro-site that housed the most pertinent information for the company in time for an upcoming tradeshow.
I was involved as the tradeshow exhibit was concepted, but the bulk of my work was bringing WIBS online in a unique and memorable way that facilitated brand recognition and content retention.
